I'm passionate about understanding the mind, exploring how emotions shape behavior, offering meaningful support to people and helping students connect with subjects such as psychology. My goal is to build a mental health world that's evidence-based.
This site shares my work and how we can make a difference together. Glad you're here!

I was honoured to earn my M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, in the presence of India's President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu.

Earlier, I completed my B.Sc. in Clinical Psychology, laying the foundation for my clinical skills and research passion.
I've also cleared teaching and psychology national level exams such as UGC-NET and GATE.
My research journey took off with a Bachelor's elective that grew into a passion. From presenting a paper on juvenile delinquency at York University to exploring personality and cognition, I kept digging deeper.
In my Master's, I worked on youth mental health with The Sarg Initiative, shared insights on awe and prosociality at the University of Georgia, translated interviews on child marriage, and studied correctional staff stress during COVID.
I'm grateful that my Master's dissertation on awe, prosociality, and resilience was recognized with the Best Paper Award at the 3rd International Conference of Positive Psychology.

Just a month after completing my Master’s, I found myself on the other side of the classroom, as an Assistant Professor at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, Navi Mumbai.
Beyond research and teaching, I’m deeply drawn to social work and community engagement. I’ve worked in mental health settings and explored rural challenges in Mohopada, experiences that revealed the urgent need for accessible, inclusive care.

I'm someone who enjoys thoughtful conversations, whether about ideas, puns, or life's deeper questions. Outside of work, I find joy in running, painting, reading, lifting, and spending time in nature. I'm also drawn to music and reflecting on culture, purpose, and human connection.
If you're seeking support, I offer individual sessions as part of my commitment to community care. You can email me, and I'll get back to you with a suitable time.
Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to explore, reach out, or just say hi.
